Time Flies

Boy time flies when you live with teenagers, a computer/music man, two cats and new kitten. I am not complaining just trying to catch my breath. This weekend has been packed you can read more about this Weekend over at my other blog http://creativescrapsbypeggylee.blogspot.com/

All I can say Rain!!!! So I have been busy in my studio/craft room working and blogging. I love this blog land, I feel connected to so many people all over, even though I live here in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Which I love it's beautiful even when it rains. I am just ready for summer, long sunny days sun tanning and sipping on ice tea with my girls and a good favorite mag. which ever I happen to have on hand I love so many, I really miss the HOME COMPAINION mag. I am so sad but understand.

Been trying to set up the summer calendar not enough time to do all I would like to do:

1. vacation trips with family (beach)
2. visit family
3. yard sales/flea markets
4. create something everyday
5. work on my journal pages
6. spend alot of time with my daughters(teenagers learn to fly out of the nest to fast)
7. refinish some dressers (painting them white)
8. girlfriend time
9. lots of date nights with my man
10. work on craft fair items to see and get my esty account up and running

Hope I can complete this list if not it will be fun trying!!!

Bad Blogger

I have been a very bad blogger, I am home just very busy with my girls and yard work. Both my girls had doctor's appt. the past few weeks. It seem like I have only been living at the hospitals for xrays, lab work. We also had some family issues with cancer and all I can say we are fine but a love one needs your prayers. thanks
Our new little one is driving me nuts she has already destored scarpbook paper, ribbon, and collage paper. she loves my studio!! But my studio doesn't like her...
I haven't had time to create anything the past few weeks, the lawn and yard work has kept me pretty busy it looks beautiful.
So today I decided I need to create something, I am making a scrapbook layout with a round pizza book insert cardboard I've been taking pictures of all the different stages and I will post them with my instructions for you to see. soon.
I have quilt group today and need to pull some fabric for a weighted pincushion organizer we are going to create. I will take pictures.

New family member.

what did I do that?

the look of "oh no that big cat is going to eat me." our other two adult cats haven't decided yet if they like sasha yet. Of course they are scared to death of her the little thing, but is isn't scared at all of them.

What a Monday!

This morning, I woke up running. First I ran in and woke up my 16 yr old, and then ran down stairs to start a pot of coffee. Back up stairs to throw on some clothes to back down stairs for my first and needed cup of joy (coffee) there is nothing like your first cup in the morning. Saw my man off to work, ran back upstairs to wake up my 12 yr old and told her to get dressed quick. Got them both out the door and dropped Olivia my 16 yr old at high school and then drove Emilee my 12 yr old to the next town over for lab work early this morning, she had to fast so you know what I heard, I'm hungry and I said I know honey but you have to do your blood work first, well she also had to take the sugar test ( you know that awful orange drink you have to take when you are having a baby) poor thing then we had to wait another two hours for more blood work before she could eat anything, I felt so bad for her. She is fine, we ran home got something for her to eat then ran her to school. Came back home and crashed in the living room. Not for long jumped up and unloaded and loaded the dishwasher (we had such a mess left out last night because we got back home so late from the family and friends softball game cookout we had) great fun. Boy I am tired, just typing this. ah.
Finially at 3pm took my shower and in a half an hour I am out running again to pick up my 16 yr old from afterschool program, then I will need to come home tackle the homework and computer thing and cook supper and maybe some wash. Is my day done yet?

It's Friday Yes!!

Yes it's Friday, I wish I was going to the Scrap booking event in Manchester, NH this weekend. But I am not again, everything happens around this weekend and every year I am upset, next year watch out I am going. You can count on that. Today is busy, shopping, bills, taking my oldest daughter for Xrays on her back and chest. My man is gone for the weekend retreat and my girls have youth group tonight so I see scrap booking and playing in my future. yes...
While I am at Walmart to I think I will get some pictures developed and scrap, I am finally going to do it, send out my layouts and see if they get published it's a hard thing to wait and see if you are even going to get your layout in a magazine. That is my dream!
Much to do will post later about my night. be creative.

Getting Crafty

New/Old Look

For any of you wondering about this blog. Yes It's new and old , the new is pegbaker.blogspot.com the old is the blog title name and picture it's from my other blog creativescrapsbypeggylee.blogspot.com this past winter I accidentally deleted my first blog which mad me go crazy and I couldn't get it back with that I couldn't have my full name in blog spot again heeeeeeeeeeeeeee, so with many mistakes and hardships I have decided to go to only one blog and blog about everything in my life there, which is here now, I will share everything form home life, church life, raising teenagers, decorating our new home and #1 Crafting: scrapbooking, paper crafting, jewelry making, one of a kind items, sewing, mixed media, collecting, sharing inspiration where ever it falls. Mother's Day Sunday

This morning I was awoken to sweet aroma of fresh hot cinn. buns baking in the oven (homemade) by my man. And tonight I get a home cooked meal and I don't have to do anything. That's the biggest gift I could get. I think I am going to take a nap while they cook. Boy that sounds so strange, you know moms mostly cook, clean up. I do love being a mom even more today than when I started 17 years ago. Having older daughters is so sweet and eventful.
My heart to heavy with just the fact that I left my mother last week to come back home and take care of my family again. That was a tough choice because my mom needs me to. But so does my daughters need their mommy too. I know my mother is being taken care of it's just the heartbreaking thought. you know of leaving behind loved ones for other love ones. wow I better stop or I will starting watering my computer all up.
Spend the day with someone special and like our sign at our church says "have you called you mom this week?"

Rain Again

Good morning, it's rain again, where is the sunshine?

Well this week since I have gotten back has been very busy, with catching up on my family events, like my oldest daughter Olivia turned Sweet 16 on Tuesday. Happy Birthday Olivia!!!

So I haven't stopped at all, but this morning is a stay at home mom day...

1. morning devotions

2. clean the kitchen

3. sweep the floors

4. do laundry

5. balance checkbook

6. send out notes to ladies

7. work on updates for my blogs

8. think about supper????

9. work in my studio (needs a cleaning)

10. Spend time in Prayer for National Day Of Prayer (which is today)

now this list though in number order I will not do them that way it is just my list of to do list. First I am a mom and even though a list follows me all day I just cross off what I can get done, and add to that list another day.

I'M BACK

Just a short note to say I am back home, after being gone for a month at my mothers in Maine taking care of her and helping my brother out.
I have so much to share, my thoughts are rushing through my head and my heart. But I have to be a mom and wife first so much to catch up on and today starts my day running.
With my oldest turning 16 in the morning I have lots to do. So I will post more later and have lots of pics to show you.

Please still keep my mother Ada in your prayers. And I want to say THANK YOU to all who have been praying for her, and who sent us cards and called me in Maine it meant alot.
