MoJo Monday #261 & National Card Making Day

Today is National Card Making Day and a bonus:
1st Mojo Monday
My first time trying out the MoJo-Monday Challenge #261
for more details check out their blog.

Mojo Monday and the New "Handmade Holiday" by Simple Stories Collection. Which just screams country comfort, so I couldn't resist using one of the little snowman that I fussy cut out of one of  the journal spots/cards.
To create this card, I used Kraft card stock 4 x 6 card base, cut the circles and scallop pieces using the Close To My Heart Cricut Art Philosophy Collection. Pattern paper is Handmade Holiday by Simple Stories, Distress ink-vintage photo by Ranger. Embellishments: twine, seam binding, button, highlighted the snowflake stickers with Gelly Roll-Glitter Clear Star Pen.

Another creations of a 3 in One gift paper bag, card and tag...using Authentique "Enchanted" Collection.
paper lunch bag.
The flower is handmade out of crinoline fabric, sprayed with glimmer mist: raven and graphite also the leaves with distress stain: forest moss and adhesive was Helmar 450 glue. The doilie was sprayed with raven glimmer mist as well. See the pretty sparkle trim thats the new Tim Holtz tinsel "Autumn" and the flower center was Sparkles by KaiserCraft: color Ebony black.
thanks for stopping by,
Peggy Lee

Tea Bag Holder with Dotty for You

Yesterday my upline and I got together for some creative play and we played with the Dotty for You paper packet that you can purchase on my website www.peggyleebaker.ctmh.com when you spend $35.00 you can purchase the Dotty for You paper for only $5.00.
Tea Bag Holder is so much fun to create and give as a gift it will also hold chocolates....
Started with a template, cut and scored the papers used some liquid glue and red line tape. The Dotty for You paper has tons of different designs to choose from (mix and match) for you creation. I used Chocolate Ink to distress the edges, added some seam binding. Used Card Word Puzzle stamp set for the rose and happy birthday that I stamped on a tag that was cut from the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge. On the top is a stamp flower from the same stamp set, a brad in the center to hold 4 layers of the flower crinkled up to give depth.
Lastly I added some bling with Glitz Glitter Gel in Silver, here is a little tip to give the rose (I stamped the rose 4 times and cut out each section using pop dots to give the depth. Love this look.

All supplies are CTMH
(you can purchase these at www.peggyleebaker.ctmh.com)
