Swirly Hues Challenge

Swirlydoos April 2012 Swirly Hues Challenge, that I took part in over at the blog. I just signed up to be in the Monthly Kit Club and it is so worth it, the kits are amazing and jammed packed with yummies.
I decided to play along since I received my amazing kit, here is the Inspiration/sketch I used to create my scrapbook layout.

Here is April Kit (just look at all that goodness)

Here is what I created with all this amazing supplies:
We had to use a tutorial from the Swirlydoos forum: I picked "Distressing", I used an edger to distress all the edges and riped into the sides to give a tattered feel, used inks, glimmer mist and stencils to add a aged look.

Supplies:
Swirlydoos Monthly Kit (April)
Distress ink-black soot
Tattered Angels glimmer mist-raven
handmade vintage photo glimmer mist
450 Helmar glue
Martha Stewart punch-scallop heart edger
Sizzix dies-vine w/leaves, corners, flourish # 2 die
TCW- template chicken wire stencils
paper doily

happy creating, Peggy Lee
