Welcome to our Artsy Addicts Technique Blog Hop!!!!
My tip and technique for you today is "sanding, ripping, crinkling, inking"!!!
Here is what I created "Tag"!!
First I started out with a plain shipping tag, added glue to it placed it down on top of some colored card stock that is from Close To My Heart. The special awesome thing about CTMH card stock and paper is that it has a white core, which makes it great for embossing, sanding, ripping and crinkling. So much fun!
Here is the shipping tag after I ran it through the cuddle bug with the swirl embossing folder and see how awesome the white core shows up when sanded.
so pretty
Rip out a piece of pattern paper and crinkle really well to create a weathered and worn look, then run Distress Ink (Walnut stain) over the paper lightly to add depth and color. How cool is that.
vintage feel
Now let's not forget to hop back to Angela's blog where this blog hop all started!! Now here is a twist if you have visited my blog please be sure to leave me a comment below and I will put your name in for a little art giveaway prize!!!! whooo who doesn't love a special treat. Thanks for creating with me.
