December BAP-Prima Challenge
Prima Marketing has a some wonderful challenges over on their blog, like this one "BAP" (Build A Page) This month the sketch artist is Marie-Nicolas Alliot!
Rules to use with this sketch, build a page with Prima based products and submit through email.
So here is what I came up with while recovering from a surgery this past week.
I first started making my Chevron pattern was using a chicken wire mask and gesso.
Added some Prima stamping and ink.Distressed the paper edges and added some color with Distress Inks to all the edges and in places all over the paper. Don't be afraid go for it just add color and blend with water if you get to dark.
Grab some beautiful Prima flowers-mix and match with all kinds of flowers to create your very own flower.
Create away! Here are some tiny clothes pins that I glimmer misted to give the weathered look...don't forget to tuck in papers, flowers and embellishments here and there to add textured layers.
Don't forget to journal here is where I tucked in my journaling behind the photo clipping to the clothes pin.
I used Prima's Almanac Collection paper scraps that I had laying around my workspace.
I so enjoyed playing along with this Prima sketch challenge, thanks for stopping by.

MoJo Monday 5th Avenue Style (Melissa Frances)
With Christmas just around the corner and me recovering from gallbladder surgery this week I have had a little down time, so I decided I could create a simple shabby chic card for this weeks MoJo Monday. Of course I knew I had to use the 5th Avenue by Melissa Frances love this paper line, added some vintage seam binding and mother of pearl buttons.
A little sewing around in grey thread gives this card a little pop!
Along with the card I knew I had to create a little ornament to adorn our tree with the 5th Avenue papers, it turned out so cute I created a few more for Christmas gifts.
Merry Christmas,
Peggy Lee
