Part 2 Spring time Creation

Spring is finially coloring my house inside (not to much on the outside) waiting for the lawn to dry up a bit so we can get out and rake up the mess old man winter left behind.
handmade paper flowers are so fun to create I can't seem to stop.....on the bottom of this flower is a layer of tule....love it!!!
Next I created this bird from chipboard, a flower punch from a coffee flitter and glimmer misted!! yummie color, I folded glued together to form a wing, and rolled matching paper for a little rose bud.

sorry way to blurry, I did the same with the butterfly as I did for the bird.

Sorry for not very good pics of this Spring Banner, I had a hard time fitting it all in. This banner matches my Easter Egg wall art in my last post.
Can't believe that Easter is only two weekends away, boy it's really early this year, I am so happy my house is decorated ready......now on to making the Girls outfits for Easter.

Scrappin Good Weekend

Welcome March!! thanks for the lovely fluffy white gift this morning, I love it so beautiful, not fun to drive in but so good to look at while you stay in where it's warm and create all day.
Here is a couple of layouts I made last night for my weekend scrappin (in my living room to drive my husband crazy I have a studio but no tv in there) he is ready to buy me one. Yes
The layouts I used Bo Bunny paper and stickers, stamp... and distress inks by Tim Holtz. And of course Tattered Angels Glimmer mist......have to mist something... chipboards, gems.

the girls building the first snowman of 2009 snowfall-he is not there anymore, when the men brought the new furance in they kicked him off his step....sad but funny.....with the snow falling today the girls can build another little guy....maybe he will be a little bigger....enjoy the snow if it's fallen your way!!!!

2010 (365) days of Memories

Day 20- homemade flower

Day 21-sewing pj's up....what a mess
Day 22- shopping date with Lee, I found flowers on clearance, need I say more....these will look great.....
Day 23- Stampers Lunch Date!! after a wonderful lunch, we got to play with stamps, inks, paper. Thank you Cathy, you made us all feel very special...

Day 24-Sunday afternoon of relaxing even for our new Little Queen-I tried to get her while she was sleeping, I want to make a layout "prince and the pea" but she woke up.....still cute.

Scrappin

A homemade flower: the bottom flower was made out of two circles then I sliced small thin strips for petals not all the have to the center, glimmer mist several times. Love the way it turned out. The center flower was made from old dictionary paper, scallop punch (stampin up) with a brad to hold all the 8-10 layers, glimmer mist again!! whoola!! handmade flower....
Family time Scrappin layout-you can see Emilee was enjoying watching the tv instead of getting her picture taken. Not Olivia she is a ham when it comes to the camera!!! Every day moments, captured for a life time......
