Happy New Year 2018

Wishing you all a "HAPPY NEW YEAR 2018"

and many blessings to come!

Here is a photo of my handmade banner created with vintage sheet music

and edged with silver glitter.

Handmade pom pom garland created with craft yarn. Simple and easy!

Magnolia wreath created with silver and gold magnolia leaves that I cut apart

and attached onto a round foam wreath.

Backdrop are flea market, junk finds "old barn window and shutters" I painted them

shabby white and distressed the edges.

Adorn with white lights makes for a beautiful glow!

Being creative is so good for the soul....I'm hoping this new year will

be filled with many creative, soul, mindful moments daily.

Tattered "JOY" Banner with Canvas Corp Brands

Tattered "JOY" Banner

I love this little beauty I created with many different

Canvas Corp Brands products.

Love the handmade tattered look with the pastel color tones for

a shabby vintage feel!

I first started to create canvas tags then when I had them line up

together I was oh a banner maybe. I grabbed Canvas Corp Black/Ivory Plaid

card stock, cut to size. I distressed the edges added modeling paste with a stencil "lace"

then added Tattered Angels High Impact Paint in White, where I did

a layer of white wash let dry, added Tattered Angels glimmer mists in Red Tipped Rose,

Wedding Pink, Dazzling Diamonds, Pink Coral and Crushed Shells. Just

kept painting and drying to get the desired look I was going for "SHABBY"!

Punched the eyelet holes strung with the Canvas Corp Jute Rope (I pulled it

apart to in half)...this helped threading it through the holes. Tied together.

The inspiration was the new 7Gypsies Seamstress paper collection and with Tim Holtz Tattered Poinsettia Die. Oh this paper collections is just delish and screams vintage, so I knew I wanted

to use this for my banner. I die cut the poinsettia flower out of the paper and canvas then I

white washed the pieces, added glitter to the edges...I also used the Tim Holtz Tattered Pine cone Die with the Canvas Corp Black/Ivory Plaid card stock and painted it blue with the Tattered Angels High Impact paint-Blue....love this paint cause it allows the pattern to show through!

I painted white covered with thick layers

of Gesso and heat set them to bubble. After dried I painted again with the Tattered Angels High Impact Paint-Blue...love the texture!

Last panel I embellished with an canvas ornament

I die cut out another Tim Holtz Carved Ornaments...I ran it through a Maggie

Holmes music embossing folder...

painted it with Gesso with Rose Color Fragments, Glitter and buttons.

Love Love Love

Last touch was covering all the panels with Diamond Dust Glitter,

also added 7Gypsies Lace

and trims glued to the bottom of the banner for shabby feel.

I really enjoyed gathering my Canvas Corp Brands supplies and created this

Happy Easter

My heart is full of blessings today with the love of family, friends and a beautiful Easter breakfast at Church and a Service.

My heart is also sad since our oldest daughter is away from home in college and it was our first ever Easter apart from her. She was missed so much but we know she was blessed at her Church with her college friends.

Graphic 45 Baby: Little Darlings

Little Darlings Graphic 45 paper line is the sweetest, I am creating these little gems for a baby shower I am throwing for my niece. Here are the baby invites all the card bases are the same, but the little cut outs are all different but still so cute.

This little darlings baby banner is so adorable, started out with a banner pennant that I traced the pennants on card stock, and backed the pennant with white crepe paper. Added a card cutouts, fuzzy cut out the tiny butterflies and titles. Punched out the scallop circles and the word BABY were stickers from the Graphic 45 sticker sheet. Lastly added some pretty pink ribbon to hang the banner tied with tiny bows.
