Happy Memorial Day

To start the celebration for Memorial Day I created this adorable card, card base is 7x6 fold in half, stamp script stamp in black ink in the upper center of card. I used the CTMH SOTM Pinwheel stamp set that you can still purchase until the end of this month May 31st for only $5.00 when you spend $50.00 in CTMH products which you can purchase here. I used pacifica blue ink and ruby ink to create the pinwheel added a gem. Pop up the pinwheel to give some depth of movement on card, then stamp the sentiment twice, one in ruby ink on the card base and then one on a piece of scrap and cut out the "celebrate" into a banner pennant shape popped it up to give movement.

CTMH Pinwheel Card for MoJo Monday Challenge

I decided at the last minute I had to play along with the awesome challenge over at MoJo Monday Blog! They always have outstanding sketches and great inspiration from others who play along and amazing design team. You can see more at their blog: /http://mojomonday.blogspot.com/

So here is my take on their sketch....

Created with mostly Close To My Heart products!

Card base is 4 1/4 scallop circle card cut from the Cricut Art Philosophy Collection cartridge from CTMH.

Colonial White cardstock circle 3 3/4.

I used an old collection "Dotty for You" to create little banners.

Silver glitter paper.

CTMH SOTM:  May Pinwheel stamp set  and stamped in honey and lagoon ink.

added a little baker's twine with a Kaiser Craft sparklets crystal for the center of the pinwheel.
