the blast at the end was sparkling delight!!!!! Here is the Baker family being so goofy but loving every moment of the fireworks!!!! love this one....

The best part was having some friends join up with us...I love this pic of Connie and Shawn watching the fireworks....
Shawn found a free seat in a Walmart shopping cart!!! We told him in the dark he looked like ET!!!!!! He had a blast....

everyday moments but a life time of memories...

Creative Juices

My Creative Juices sure have been flowing lately, I have been busy cleaning and organizing my scrap space and trying to be brave on getting rid of stuff that I am not using. Boy that is a hard one, but I know someone else will be blessed to have my unwanted treasures. Here is a mini album I created about my daughter Emilee, she graduated from the 8th grade and so to honor her I did a mini with black and white photos, here Emilee and her sis Olivia sharing a moment at graduation, love the new fabric paper that Creative Imagination has out, thats what I used to stamp the word SISTERS on.
The cover of the mini: I used the new paper from Basic Grey "Cappella" sooo beautiful!!! with Prima ribbon, and Websterpages trims and so much more....

close up of Prima flowers, so little pretties.....

here is a Tag I made for a DT (I submitted), this little tag turned out so cute I must say!!

I used Graphic 45 new paper, Prima flowers, Tim Holtz die, inks, stickles, Websterpages trims, Hero Art stamp.....so much more.....I do love this tag-with a little feathers for a shabby chic touch...

Let your creative juices flow with a trip to your local scrapbook store and buy something new you don't have and combine it with your already stash....let the creativtiy begin...

Happy Mother's Day

Today is Mother's Day a day to honor our mother's with love, gifts, time spent together. We are very thankful for our mother's. This first pic is of my mom Ada who about six years ago suffered from a massive stroke that has left her paralyzed and in a wheel chair for the rest of her life. She is my hero for she never gives up and is always finding way to get along in life. I love her so much. This is Lee's mom, Lelia and she is very loving and caring mom, a few years ago she lost her husband Lee's father to cancer and is living life alone, but only in spirit for she has her family around her to support her.
Both our mom's are very strong women and we love them for that, we are very blessed on this day and everyday. Take a moment to let someone who is special in your life how much they mean to you.
Happy Mother's Day to all out here in blog land.

What a Life.....

A cat's life is so simple, wake up, eat, sleep, and do it all over again. Tiger is a huge cat (he is like the dog we never got) he loves to eat crumbs off the floor, ice cream!!!! He is so loving and wants all the attention.
Our weekend was spent cleaning around the house, working on the mess I created in my studio which isn't done. Nice weather was here for the weekend and Emilee and I played a little basketball and Tiger was our audience....so excited as you can tell.
Now it's off to work this morning, just wanted to drop in and say enjoy the nice weather and be creative today.
