Die~Namites Dies Blog Hop "Last Minute Christmas Ideas"

I first would love to wish you all

Here is my Last Minute Ideas-"A Sweet Treat"
I don't know about you but I love to have some little treats
wrapped and ready to give out.
To those who come to your home you didn't expect and bring a gift to share.
So a basket full of these little box treats
are perfect little gift idea....enjoy
I cut the treat box out of the Cricut in cranberry card stock.
Used CTMH Sparkle & Shine paper

Tutorial on how I got this three tone 
Poinsettia Branch Die!!!
Step 1- Die cut out of white card stock
Step 2- Cut apart the flowers from the stems die cuts
Set 3-color your leaves/stems using Prima Chalk inks in Teal Damask
Step 4- Glue the ends together (stacking offset)
Step 5- Coloring the poinsettia flowers 
using Dylusions ink spray in Postbox Red
Step 6- dry and roll the flowers to give depth
Step 7- glue the flowers to the white centers
and your done, a beautiful embellishment!

Got to LOVE texture!!!
A little of stucco and gesso
and many different mists....of color.
I love cutting my dies out of white card stock and then getting to color
them whatever color I chose.
fabulous....

Swirly Poinsettia Christmas Card-Sketch Challenge and Die~Namites Dare!! Come Play Along...

Over on the Die~Namites Dies Blog they are having a monthly
Sketch Challenge and Die~Namites Dare!!!

Every month a new sketch will be introduced....
the sketch can be interpreted as a card, layout or altered piece!

You need to use at least one Die~Namites Die in your creation.

You have until the last day of the month to post your creation on your blog,
with mention of the Die~Namites Die used and a link back to the Die~Namites Dies blog.
Link your blog post, using Inlinkz, to the Die~Namites Die blog.

A random winner will be chosen from eligible participants
for a $25 Gift Certificate to the Die~Namites Dies
Here is my take on Lisa's sketch...
Swirly Poinsettia Christmas Card   
4x6 card 
out of Kraft card stock
along with Fab Scraps Star Sparkles paper.
Died my seam binding red to highlight the 
red in the center image.
Swirly Poinsettia
I die cut the "swirly poinsettia" Die~Namites Dies
out of white card stock.
Covered it with multi-medium matte to 
hold the inner pieces together to
create a solid die cut.
Painted the die cut using 
Viva Precious Metal Colour-Mother of Pearl
I put a few coats on, heat set and added 
a little center cut out of a piece 
Fab Scraps paper.
                                                          Here is a close up of the texture.
Created using a stencil and gesso
along with the Precious Metal effects...
