Prima host a monthly challenge called "Build-A-Page" that is so simple and easy! Just use the sketch that is shown that is designed by the Prima's DT! You can check out more at the Prima Blog under BAP Challenge. This wonderful sketch is designed by the talented Lene!! Enjoy!
April 2013 BAP Lene
Here is my take on the BAP Sketch: "Sisters"
using all Prima scraps!
And I mean scraps-my friend was over a week or so ago and left some scraps sitting on my table from the new Prima Collection of Sunrise Sunset by Finnabair, thanks so much Lynne!!!
I started to grab more scraps of flowers, metal buttons, chipboard pieces and stamps by Prima. Along with some of my favorite scrapbooking products.
I used a transparency overlay on the photo which I stamped with a stamp called Carte Postale by Stampendous that I just picked up at Michaels this past weekend. I used metal brads to hold together, looking around my scrap table I found some pieces of this and that which worked perfect with all my Prima goodies and with this sketch.
I was so excited to use my new Prima crackle mask that I picked up, using some stucco and gesso created this awesome textured background. Stamping over the crackle, and of course I can't forget to use my glimmer mist by Tattered Angels!!! Got to love glimmer!!
many photos but I love this one taken on our stone steps...
I choose my color scheme and then went searching in my Prima stash of flowers to match and I just didn't have a flower that matched the blue, but never fear just use your glimmer mist to change the color. I used a lilac light purple color flower and using my "riptide" glimmer mist created the perfect color!
Hope you have enjoyed and found something that inspires you to dig out your scraps and play!
